Meeting Authors at Forbidden Planet: Gods, Monsters and Galaxies

On Wednesday 23 September 2026, I’ll be heading to Forbidden Planet’s London Megastore for an evening of science fiction and fantasy with authors Jesse Aragon and Christopher Ruocchio, hosted by Ryan Cahill.

The event, An Evening of Gods, Monsters and Galaxies, brings together three authors for a conversation about their work and the worlds they have created.

As an author myself, I’m looking forward to the opportunity to hear from these writers about their experiences creating their stories. Writing can be a solitary process, so there’s something exciting about stepping away from the desk and meeting people who share an interest in fantasy and science fiction.

I’m also hoping to come away with some inspiration for my own writing and, of course, a chance to meet the authors whose work has contributed to the wider SFF community.

I’ll be taking my copy of Tenets, the first book in the Vagabond series, along with me as well. Hopefully, I’ll have the opportunity to introduce myself as an independent author and chat about what I’m currently working on.
